Yes, HS Protect is resistant to most chemicals. In particular it is resistant to NaCl (salt), oils, alkalis and acids. HS Protect offers protection against industrial chemicals and is suitable for marine and offshore applications.
Yes, all of HS Protect’s coatings are UV-resistant. For areas with exceptionally high UV exposure, we have developed a special formula that offers enhanced protection against UV degradation.

No, HS Protect should always be applied to a dry, grease-free surface for optimum adhesion. If the surface is damp, adhesion may not be sufficient.
The recommended film thickness depends on the application. To ensure adequate substrate protection, we recommend a dry film thickness of 150 microns (or 300 microns wet film thickness). For pedestrian surfaces such as stairs or floors, or more porous substrates such as concrete, we recommend increasing the film thickness to ensure removability after greater wear. (1 to 2 m² per kg)
HS Protect can withstand temperatures as low as -20°C without the film losing its protective properties. However, it cannot be applied at temperatures below 5°C, as this will significantly delay the drying time.
